Meet Katrina.
As a philanthropy coach & cheerleader, I have experience on both sides of the charitable table. I understand the value of aligning strategy and passion for a charity's fundraising goal and a donor’s philanthropy plan.
Just as agents are involved in selling and buying a home, I believe that coaching on both sides of a charitable gift yields optimum results while creating meaningful impact. I also believe in championing the work of charities and motivating future donors to plan, execute and enjoy!
My work ranges from helping donors give their best gift to supporting a nonprofit’s development office infrastructure. My mission is to create accessible and valuable guidance, for donors and organizations alike, in order to maximize positive impacts for the beneficiaries of charitable goodness.
Building philanthropy between charities & the charitable.
My work is done on both sides of the charitable gift table. I serve nonprofits by helping them fundraise more efficiently and effectively assist donors in organizing their philanthropic action plans.
On occasion, I help both sides of the same gift. More often, I am either “team nonprofit” or a “team donor.”
As a philanthropy coach, my approach is more intimate than typical consultants. Part mentor and part strategist, I empower my clients to bring their vision into focus and to achieve their best work. I will meet you where you are and work with you on defining a path between the starting and finish lines. I can help you put a consultant’s plan into action or help guide you into the why and when you might need to hire a consultant.
Together, we will establish a clear vision of where you want to be– from “What is an endowment anyway? To “Let’s create the next big thing!” We will, at your pace, move towards big-picture goals and celebrate all the small steps and “Aha” moments along the way!

I have called Athens, Georgia home for over 25 years. From the college campus to the Ginko-lined streets, this community has inspired so much of the work I have done and continue to do.
Although my roots are here, I work with clients and organizations from all over the country. No matter where you are, I want to ensure that you are getting the most out of your charitable efforts.
I wholeheartedly believe that if we each dig deep and find nonprofits that are meaningful to us and show up with our varied resources, then we can truly change the world.
